How to play Snowball Fight online

The controls

Move by dragging on a phone, or with WASD or the arrow keys. Walking pushes a snowball in front of you that grows as you go. Tap THROW (or click, or press Space) to throw it. Tap WALL (or press E, or right-click) to turn it into a snow wall.

How to score

Hit other players to score. Bigger balls score more, and a giant one can take out a crowd. In a room with a time limit, the highest score when the clock runs out wins the round.

• Small: a fresh ball. Flies fast and far. 1 damage, 1 point.
• Big: keep walking a while. Slower and shorter, but 2 damage, 2 points and a big knock-back.
• Giant: walk a long way. It rolls along the ground through players until it is used up or something strong stops it. 3 damage, 3 points.

Hearts, hot cocoa and energy

You have three hearts. At zero you are snowed in for 3 seconds, then come back somewhere quiet and keep your score. A hot cocoa mug gives a heart back. Someone who is snowed in leaves an energy orb for 12 seconds: grab it for a heart and a big snowball ready to throw.

Play with friends

Choose Private room on the start screen, then Create a new room. Press Invite and send the link: your friends open it and land straight in your room. Rooms take from 2 to 50 players depending on the map size, and you can add bots on Easy, Normal or Hard.

Yes to both. It is free to play and works in any modern browser. The game is in English and Arabic.
